Hi, I'm currently configuring our Jira Service management Standard Cloud, and evaluating the benefits of using the Teams feature as a way of routing issues to different work streams within different Projects, versus using another custom such as Component to filter. I can see the benefits of the ability for teams that work on specific workstreams to @mention the entire team and easily share resources, view work etc. However, this article states that anyone in the organization can assign issues to the Team, and view a team profile page - https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/visibility-of-atlassian-teams-information/

This concerns me as we have a triage function, so all issues raised by reporters within a service project will land in a triage queue for investigation at 1st line support, and then will be escalated from there to a development team if needed. We would not want any Reporters to have the ability to bypass this process and assign directly to a dev team. Is there a way to restrict the access to Teams to only Teams that a user is a member of?

Also on the Team Profile page, can we remove unwanted tiles, such a these not used?

Hi, Is there any plan to integrate the Services > Service Owner(Owner Team from ops genie) with affected services and the team field on an issue?

For example - It would make a lot of sense for there to be an integration option for when an affected service is selected on an issue> the team field is auto populated based on the "service owner" team from the services config. Thanks

Can the team field be added to the security level?

When will I be able to create a new custom field of type "team"? We have a use case where one Team opens an issue and then passes it over to another Team. I need to remember the original Team that reported the issue. Can I create a field like "Reporter" that uses the system created Teams? This would be really helpful!

As stated by others, it would be very helpful if the JQL function membersOf() would also work with Teams and not just Groups! Groups can only be changed by administrators.
