Remove CSM app

Mario Malić
May 3, 2026

Hello,

I have two apps installed on our domain JIRA Cloud:

  • Jira Service Management (1 user)
  • Customer Service Management (1 user) - which is not needed

Currently, we have a Free plan, but I want to move it to Standard, and the app that we don't need is counted towards the usage. Therefore, I am trying to uninstall it.

The problem is, that, I can't find a way to do it. 😳

Can anyone provide instructions for it?

Kind regards,

Mario

CSM is linked to JSM and together called Services Collection, You can not remove CSM by itself.

Usage is per user base in the org, so your usage would be 1 for both.

Hi @Mario Malić

If that user is the same account, you only pay for 1 license seat.

An Org Admin or User access admin can remove Customer Service Management User role for that 1 user.

App admin and User access admin do not consume a license seat.
