I am migrating all our customer documentation to this new CSM support website/portal. So far, things are going well, I can expose articles from a Confluence knowledge base. I am however having issues exposing blog-posts. I am unable to find information about this anywhere.
Is this possible?
We are using blogs as monthly news for our customers, so the blog type is a perfect match for this, but I should also be able to expose it, in the same way as I can do with articles.
Hey @Alain Kovacs ,
Unfortunately, JSM and CSM do not expose blog posts as knowledge base articles when you connect Confluence with one of these apps. 🫤
I think what you could do, as a workaround, is the following:
Use a "News" page with the blog posts macro > basically, configure the macro to display "excerpts" or "entire" content from your blogs and then link this page to your JSM portal, OR
Convert news to standard pages
There's this request related to displaying blog posts: JSDCLOUD-828: Extend Knowledge Base suggestions to Blog Posts, whiteboards, databases (beyond just pages)
Cheers,
Tobi
