Hi,
I want to create dynamic forms. Is this possible with the CSM app ?
Hi @Sophie GRAS ,
Thank you for your question.
By the momento, inside the customer experience is possible to create forms, but are simple form, not dynamic as the JSM form.
Hope it helps
Thanks for your answer. It seems that there are a lot of limitations right now with this new product, I do not really understand the interest of using it if half of the features we have in JSM using the CSM template are not present.

Hi @Sophie GRAS
If by CSM app you mean Jira Service Management (Customer Service Management), then the answer is: partially, but with limitations.
Native JSM forms do support some level of dynamic behavior, like:
Conditional fields (show/hide based on previous answers)
Required fields
Basic field validation
So you can create simple “if this → show that” flows inside a request type form.
You may also use Smart Forms for Jira (developed by my team), which supports:
Dynamic conditional logic
Hidden fields
Updating or creating work items based on responses
Reusing the same form across Jira Software, JSM, etc.
It really depends on how “dynamic” you need it to be.
