Hi All,
we are just days away from moving our JSM project to CSM and consolidating our "support" in one place. The website "functionality" looks ok, but one feature I'm missing, is for our customers to be able to download the articles for later use. It is a big requirement for us, that customers are able to use the documentation offline. Is there a good way or at least workaround, for us to implement that? Now when I access the portal/website from a test customer account, I don't see any download button. Only when I got to the confluence space/knowledge base can i see an export button, but our customers don't have access to that.
Thank you!
Hi @Alain Kovacs your users should have the ability of the browser to print an article to a PDF, and save that file somewhere. I'm not aware of functionality built into JSM to download articles.
I searched Atlassian's Jira Site and found JSDCLOUD-12333 , JSDCLOUD-18135 , JSDCLOUD-4045 and there probably are others.
Feel free to vote for them and watch them for updates. I'm kinda leaving that up to the user to decide if they want to print/save them or not. I'm also figuring they have the Service Request look up and I'm providing the Knowledge Base article link in a reply to the customer, so they'd have it for reference.
Hope that helps.
