Can't enable inbox view / forward items

Hi there, 

 

I've been trying to forward items between different spaces. I have enabled the functionality in the settings, but when clicking "Forward" in the item view, I get this message:

Inbox view not enabled

The Inbox view isn't enabled in any Jira spaces yet. Please ask your space admin to enable the Inbox view so you can select spaces.


There is, however, no setting in the spaces to enable inbox view. 
Can somebody help me with this?

I ran into something similar recently, Susanna. It turns out that enabling the forward functionality in the main settings is only the first half of the puzzle. Each individual space you want to send items to needs its own Inbox enabled too. If you do not see the setting in the space configuration, check if you have the right permissions to add new views to that space.

Sometimes it is just a matter of clicking that plus sign in the navigation bar to bring the Inbox view to life.

Hi Susanna,

I had the same issue and found the "+ Inbox" in the horizontal space navigation. See Screenshot.

Please note that I have this option just for Jira spaces but not for JSM spaces. Hopefully JSM is following soon ...
