Hello @JK

that message is usually correct: Atlassian only lets you delete an Organization when everything attached to it is fully removed (products, trials, subscriptions, apps). Even if you “removed” things, they can still show as pending / inactive / cancellation in progress and the delete check will fail.

In your case, if the only things left are Rovo and Jira Administration, that can still block deletion. Rovo in particular can be “sticky” in some tenants and not fully removable by admins.

What to do:

Check for leftovers you can’t see at first glance
Go to admin.atlassian.com → your Organization → Apps
Look for anything like:

trial still active

“pending cancellation” / “deactivated”

any app entry that still exists even if it’s not in use

Atlassian guidance (what must be removed before deleting an org):

https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/remove-domains-and-products-from-your-organization/

If only Rovo + Jira Administration remain and you still can’t delete:
That’s a Support case. Ask Atlassian to remove the blocker and delete the Organization, because you can’t always clear Rovo yourself.

Support contact page:
https://support.atlassian.com/contact/

UI won’t let you remove the last remaining item(s), Support has to finish the cleanup so the Organization can be deleted.

Thank you for your reply.
But I just can't contact support by one on one.
so... can't ask Atlassian to remove the blocker and delete the Organization....

Can you help me, please?

@JK

Unfortunately, I can’t reach out to Atlassian Support directly, but there are a couple of people here who may be able to help with that.

Normally, if you created an organization by mistake, you should still be able to cancel the subscription and put Delete Request.

I agree here with @Trudy Claspill  fully.

Hello @JK

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Subscriptions to Atlassian's Confluence app exist within Atlassian Cloud Organizations. You can't maintain the subscription without an Organization.

When you sign up for a subscription an Organization will be created, unless you are adding the subscription to an existing Organization.

If you want to use your company's Confluence app you need to contact the admins of it to ask them to give you access to it.

In your efforts to get access you may be clicking buttons that would set up your own separate subscription instead.

Thanks for your reply.
I don't want to do anything about my company Organization.
I want to delete mine. That I created by my mistake...

I have flagged your post here to raise it to the attention of Atlassian team members. They should respond within 2 business days.

Hi @JK

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

From the account used to create this post, we can see there is an Organization with a site with an active Rovo product.

As our friends mentioned, Rovo can be harder to remove by yourself, so we can ask our internal teams to remove it for you, upon written approval from you.

Since we need to confirm a few things and we don't want to share your information nor from your site/orgs here as this is a public post, we have created a support ticket on your behalf to continue.

Please check the ticket details at https://support.atlassian.com/requests/ and your email address, as you should have received the request creation there as well. :)

If you are having any issues seeing the ticket, feel free to let us know!

Cheers,
Jessica
