Sign up fails with "Invalid email address" for a valid Gmail address

Hi, I'm trying to create a new Atlassian account on id.atlassian.com/signup.

The form consistently shows this error right after I click "Sign up": "Invalid email address specified. Use another one." - even though the address is a normal, correctly formatted Gmail address.

I've tried:
- Retyping the address carefully (no typos, no extra spaces)
- Different browsers
- The email is not already registered — if I try to log in with it, I get redirected back to the sign up page instead

Could someone from the team check why this specific address is being flagged as invalid, or let me know if there's a workaround? Thanks!

Is this google address based on a company domain and a Google Business Workspace domain. It can be that this is blocked from that side.

Since your email address contains personal information, it's best not to share it here on the public community forum where anyone can see it. Instead, you'll want to raise a ticket directly with Atlassian Support so they can safely check why that specific address is being flagged.

Before doing that, a quick workaround you could try:

• On the sign-up page, click the Continue with Google button instead of typing your Gmail address manually in the field.

If that still doesn't work, you can submit a support request directly via support.atlassian.com/contact.
