Hi, I used to have a I think it was "Professional" account that I paid for so I could use the Advanced Roadmaps feature. I stopped paying for it because I wasn't using the roadmap feature but I no longer have access to my project - I wanted to just stop using Roadmaps, not lose access to my project altogether!!!
How do I get it back?
Hi @Andrew Groom ,
When did you lose access to the account? Did you receive any notification from Atlassian, about the account being archived or deleted?
Do you have access to Atlassian Support here?
https://support.atlassian.com/contact#/
I'm also requesting assistance from the Atlassian Support here so the can verify what happened to the projects.
Hi Carlos, I think it was a few months ago (I haven't checked it for a while), and I recall getting a message about an account being removed but I thought it was a test account that I'd set up and didn't need.
Is there any way to recover the project?

We're sorry to hear you are missing your account.
Checking the latest emails sent to your account, it seems there was some warnings about your Free site a*******om.atlassian.net action required to login and interact on it, so it would not be "inactive", and then after a period of inactivity mentioned in the previous emails, another email that the site was being deactivated due to inactivity.
I believe this is the Jira/site you were looking for?
In general, we don't support recovery/restore data for deleted sites or any other destructive activities, but in that case, since the deactivation happened at 2026-03-19, it is no longer possible to recover any data, even on a best effort.
For more information on the data restore policies and Free inactivity, please see:
If you have taken any backups, you should be able to reactivate your Jira product and then re-import the content from the backup(s) taken.
Regards,
Jessica
