Hello,

I am trying to log in to my Bitbucket account, but I am unable to complete the verification process because the verification code is being sent to an old email address that I no longer have access to.

The account is associated with the email address: irlisbuzo@unnitech.net.
This email has been deactivated by my previous company, so I cannot receive any verification codes or recovery emails.

I still know my password and can provide any additional information required to verify my identity (such as repository names, username, or other account details).

The account was associated with the company domain "unnitech.net", and the Atlassian site URL may be related to that domain (possibly https://unnitech.atlassian.net), although I am not completely certain.

I would like to request assistance in recovering access to my account or updating the email address linked to it.

Please let me know what information you need from me to proceed.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,
Irlis

Hi @Irlis Buzo

To set the correct expectations with you, our suggestion would be to contact your previous company to see the possibility to make changes to your Atlassian Account and change the email or transfer the ownership of your Bitbucket/ another site/product/account there.

In general, if you don't have access to the original email owner of the account, we are unable to help with any other modifications, due to security reasons.

At this moment, I'm unable to open a request on your behalf, as it seems the address you shared doesn't exist, and we don't have a license number associated with any of the accounts mentioned (email shared and the one used to create this post).

Even with that in mind, to see if there is any other way in place, you can try to create a support ticket with the steps that Kris shared in a message on this post (on this url link: atlassian.com/company/contact/purchasing-licensing), where you can share more information that is not recommended to share on a public forum, and it should be redirected to our support team.

We hope the support ticket creation works from there, but let us know if you run into any issues.

Regards,
Jessica

Hi @Irlis Buzo

You can try to reach to Atlassian using the no-login option

Login troubles? (No‑login path)

If you can’t access your account to open a ticket, use this no‑login path:

  1. Visit our support page: https://www.atlassian.com/company/contact

  2. Select “Pricing, billing and licensing.”

  3. Continue without logging in.

  4. Enter your email.

  5. In “How can we help you,” select “Other.”

  6. Skip the URL fields if they don’t apply.

  7. Describe your issue in “Your Question.” This will open a ticket with Atlassian Support.
