I have been trying to delete my account for the past two hours.
When I try to, it tells me, "User is last billing admin of a transaction account that has one or more active entitlements."
What do I do? How can I ensure my account is deleted? I made a Loom account for a college class a year ago, and I only made an Atlassian account to try to delete that one. Now, I am trying to delete my Atlassian account and apparently this is a common problem.
The block happens because your Atlassian account is still the billing admin on a Loom workspace with an active subscription
— even a free-tier one counts as an "active entitlement."
Here's how to clear it:
1. Log into admin.loom.com (not loom.com) with your Atlassian credentials.
2. Navigate to Workspace Settings → Billing.
3. Either transfer billing admin to another user (even a dummy email you control), or cancel the plan entirely if no one else needs it. Free plans can just be deleted — go to Workspace Settings → Delete Workspace.
4. Once the Loom workspace has no active entitlements tied to your account, go back to id.atlassian.com → Profile → Delete account — the block should be gone.
