I have been using an account for the past 4 years to use trello and today I tried to use it on atlassian.com to take a look at other products, but couldn't get it to log in, it always takes me to "create an account" page when I input my email. After some time fiddling I created an account with the same email, name, password as the old account and lost access to my trello boards. As if the old account had never existed. What do I do?

I've taken a look for an Atlassian account under this email address but I wasn't able to locate one.
I would recommend checking if you've accessed Atlassian or Trello using a different email address.
