Linking my Org account to a newly created (primary) account took away my Koodos

I came to know that I can create a primary account and link the org account. I did so, it's just that the primary account is a fresh new account with my Gmail ,ID and the org account is the one I was using for years. While my badget and profile level remains same all Kudos are gone and I am at 245 kudos, is that expeted?
