How to integrate Zoho desk in Jira

I have tried so many ways but we couldn't see any options which helps to integrate zoho desk in jira.

I don’t think there is a built-in first-party Jira setting that natively connects Zoho Desk out of the box, which is probably why you’re not finding a simple option in Jira admin.

 

What I do see are Marketplace connector apps for Zoho Desk and Jira, plus the option to build a custom integration with APIs/webhooks/automation if you need something specific.

 

So if your goal is ticket sync between Zoho Desk and Jira, I’d start by deciding whether you want an app-based connector or a custom integration rather than looking for a native Jira toggle.

The above answer covers the basics aptly. What usually makes the difference is how deep your sync needs to go.

A few additional things worth thinking through before you decide:

  • Depth of sync needed: Basic connectors handle ticket creation, but full context sync (comments, attachments, updates) needs more control
  • Workflow alignment: Jira and Zoho Desk workflows differ, so status and transition mapping needs to be defined clearly
  • Ownership of updates: Decide which system controls what to avoid conflicts or sync loops
  • Maintenance effort: Custom API integrations work, but require ongoing upkeep as APIs or workflows evolve
  • Scalability: What works initially may not hold up as volume and complexity grow

In cases like this, teams usually move toward a structured custom integration instead of building everything from scratch.
