Can I delete my account after the 14 day trial; as I only needed it for educational purposes?

First of all, I simply created a account for college reasons, but now I am scared as I do not want to pay after the free trial, and it does say if I do not provide a payment method by the deadline, it would get deactivated? is that true, and I won't be charged at all?

I will keep that short. Valid concern but no need to worry.

no payment method added → no charge

trial ends → revert to Free or deactivate, depending on user count

if you do not need the account at all afterward → you can delete the Atlassian account from your account settings.

what do you mean by user count? and okay, also this is what it says... I just have anxiety due to the posts I am reading
