Another weekly roundup of Atlassian news is here! This time we deep dive into the newly released Atlassian letter to shareholders, look at new improvements to Atlas and Atlassian Analytics, and more!

 

 

🚀 New improvements

Atlassian Analytics Updates

Atlassian Analytics released new features - the "Sprint" table and the "Issue sprint history" table in the Data Lake schema. And announced future improvements like new table charts, the ability to connect to Google Sheets, and a new column in the Opsgenie "Notification" table.

 

Atlas Custom Fields

Atlas released a new custom fields feature, allowing you to tailor projects and goals. There are four types of custom fields: Freeform text, Freeform number, Select, and User.

Atlassian Q4 FY23 Letter to Shareholders 

 

With over 260,000 customers, Atlassian generated $3.5 billion in revenue. Enterprise sales saw significant growth, as well as efforts in cloud migration and enhancements like data residency and backup, improved usability, and benefits, reflecting a strong strategy for future growth in Cloud.
 
Atlassian is continuing to embrace a remote-first approach, with the implementation of "Team Anywhere." This initiative enabled Atlassian to hire the best talent globally, with over half of FY23's hires living more than two hours from an office.
 
Atlassian reported Q4FY23 earnings with revenue of $939 million, which is an increase of 24%, mainly driven by growth in Cloud and Data Center offerings. Revenue growth in subscriptions was 34%, with Cloud revenue up 30% and Data Center revenue up 46%.
