Atlassian Analytics Updates - July 2023

Hello, Analytics friends! We’ve got a couple of recent releases to highlight and several new features that we think you’ll be excited about. Read on to see what’s new and coming soon.

Recently shipped

Sprint data

You’ve all been requesting it, and it’s finally here! We’ve added the “Sprint” table and brought back the “Issue sprint history” table to the Atlassian Data Lake schema. Check our announcement to learn more and see an example of how to use these tables.

Clearer guidance for required controls

We've made an update to the multi-select "Dropdown" and "Text input" controls on your dashboard. Now, when no values are selected in these controls, the placeholder text will show "(required)" to indicate when you need to select a value to display the chart's data.

👀 Coming soon

Issue hierarchy improvements

We’re going to start the process to include more parent data in the “Parent” field of the Data Lake. For about two weeks after we start this process, you may experience partial parent data in the “Parent” field. More details to come soon.

New table charts

Table charts will get a new look, updated chart settings, and new features. Stay tuned for our announcement within the next couple of weeks!

Ability to connect to Google Sheets

Bring in supplemental data from your Google Sheets spreadsheets to use in your charts and dashboards.

New column in the Opsgenie “Notification” table

We’re introducing the Destination column, which will provide the destination of the notification (for example, email address, phone number, and so on).
