Community Round-up: June 2021

Hello Everyone!

You will notice that this month’s article is a little larger than normal. Everyone posted a TON of fantastic content this month and it was really hard to provide just a sample of the great content on the community. I also added a section this time specifically for webinar events that are coming up so you don’t miss out on them.

Articles:

• First up, I wanted to bring this to everyone’s attention because you need to act quickly! The Atlassian University team launched a new platform for their training, and they have a number of paid courses that are FREE! This limited time offer ends July 1st. Go sign up now, I’ll wait.  Join us for limited-time free training courses at the new Atlassian University
• Ok you signed up for all of those great courses? Good! Next, It wouldn’t be right if I didn’t mention this month’s badge challenge. June is all about Jira Service Management, check out the article for how you can get involved.  🤘🏽It’s JSM June!
• Also, the Atlassian Community team has announced 🏅THE 2021 ATLYMPIC GAMES 🏅 I’m not 100% sure what all will be involved, but I can guarantee it will be a very good time. Also, I will 100% be a part of your competition so you know you have to sign up for that reason alone 😉
• Team Sec Con has a call our for speakers. If you have something you would like to present you have until July 7th to get your submissions in.  Team Sec Con 2021 Call for Speakers: Open Now!
• This is a great tutorial by @C_ Derek Fields on using Jira Automation. Even if you aren’t looking to prevent duplicate emails, it’s worth checking out to learn more about what you can do with Jira Automation.  Using Automation for Jira to de-duplicate emails
• @Sandesh Shetty has done a excellent write up on the benefits of Advanced Roadmaps.
• If you want a bit of background on all things Agile, @Anna-BigPicture has a great article that you might find enlightening.  The Founding Fathers of Modern Agile
• This isn’t the first of these types of tutorials that @Gonchik Tsymzhitov has done and I recommend checking it out if this is something that interests you.  How to set strict protocol or skip weak algorithms in your integrations?
