I have was locked out of my account. When I tried to log back in, I was told that I would receive a code. I have tried several times, but have not receive the code. I want to try and connect with someone and this is the only forum I can find, since I can sign in.
How am I to receive my code if it is not sent to my email or phone?
Hi @Stan Leach ,
Since you logged out and trying to log back in, the MFA authenticates and keeps your account secure, when you receive the message to enter the 8 digit code, the code will be delivered to your registered mail address, maybe in your spam folder also sometimes, please check that once.
There's another case here for loggin in, when it's asking you enter 6 digit security code, that code you will not be receiveing on mail, you need to check out your authenticator app for that, In my case I use microsoft autheticator to use the one-time password codes generated by that authetictor app to verify my sign-ins.
I hope this helps, and if you're getting 8 digit code message, you might need to check your spam mails or all mails section for that.
Thank you for your answer. I regret to say
I have not received any codes to my Microsoft authentication app.

Your authenticator might be different. I just gave you an example of mine. You need to check your Atlassian account there in your preset authenticator. The code there keeps changing every 30 seconds.

again, thank you. You are being helpful.
Perhaps you can't help me with this, but I am (apparently) unable to access my Atlassian account with the authenticator. It assumes that Atlassian will send me a QR code to add it to the authenticator.
I do appreciate you trying to help me!
