Word Docs opened with Trello are missing the links.

I have attached links to word documents via Google Drive. But when I open the documents via trello , none of my links work anylonger.

Is there a way I can have trello open my word documents via trello instead of having to use GOOGLE docs?

 When I closed it in Google docs it changed all of my links to pictures. So now none of my files work correctly anymore. 

This unfortunately will cost me several hours of work.
