Hi again,
I'm having a issue with Trello concerning how a card is created from a template. I'm not sure if this is a bug or a flawed design but I was of the impression that everything added to the card template would manifest in card instances created from it. Currently, I have comments in templates that are not being transferred to the card instance.
I don't know if this arose as a result of my Premium free trial ending and causing some aberrant restriction.
Nevertheless, It is a great inconvenience to not have the comments transferrable as they comprise the bulk of the templated information.
Any form of help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks
@Dane Salmon i believe this is intentional behavior, as in my experience, comments are usually unique to a card content. For example in my use cases, comments are often a discussion section, rather than core content of the definition of a card.
Would there be a way for you to incorporate what you have in the comments in the card description? If you like how things are separated in comments, you could use some markdown formatting to break it into groups.
