Hi all, I am wanting to tag a card in any list orange (to be invoiced) this tag then triggers the card name to get added to a checklist in a card 'Monthly Invoicing'.
I am finding this a little tricky is it possible? Thanks in advance!
Welcome to the Community, it's great to have you here!
OK, I'll go through this step by step. Please let me know if it doesn't make sense and I'll try again!!
The first thing I did was go to 'Show Menu' then 'Labels' then clicked on the pencil next to the orange label and named the label 'To be Invoiced'
Then open Butler, click on 'Rules' and 'Create New'
Then click on 'Card changes' in the options, put my cursor in the labels box and a list of labels appeared, I clicked on the orange label, then clicked on the + icon
Then I went to the 'Cascade' tab and told it to find the card titled Monthly invoices - you will probably have a different name, but I thought this was the easiest way to show you. Then click the green +
Then click the 'Checklist' tab and add the {triggercardlink} to the checklist - this will give the card name as a clickable link. Then click the green +
Obviously you can add other things, like a due date to make sure that the invoice is completed within 5 days or something like that. But that's the basics!
Let me know if that's helpful!

You can add other things like assigning the task to someone, or setting the due date of the checklist item, if you have Business Class with advanced checklists.
If you use {triggercardlink} this is the best way to get a clickable link to the original card.
If you want to know other variables that you can use, this is the page that I use (all the time!): Butler Variables

Thank you very much, awesome instructions.
I had a good look but what I was missing was the trigger card link.

Woohoo!
Glad it worked for you!
If you have 2-minutes, could you accept my answer so that others with the same question know that this is a possible solution for them as well?
Thanks
Esme :)
