I would like to create a Trello and make it public so anyone can access it.
In a twist, I want the board to update using an RSS feed via Make. So it will be constantly updating.
I am not sure whether it is possible to have it so that when someone accesses the public template and makes a copy, it is updated via the RSS feed? I am guessing this is not possible because when they make a copy that will break the connection to my Make that is managing the feed.....is that correct?
Further, does the public template continue to update via the RSS feed until such time as a person copies that public template?
Or does the act of making it a public template break the RSS connection?
Hi Simon,
Thanks for reaching out!
Just to confirm, are you integrating an RSS feed with a Trello board via this Make integration: https://www.make.com/en/integrations/rss/trello/?
If so, the integration should just connect to an individual board and send updates to that board. If someone copies the board, it shouldn't break the connection but it means that the board they copied won't have the RSS feed integration.
Please let us know if you have any other questions, and we'll be happy to help.
All the best,
Lara
