Repeating tasks on checklists

mrubin121 April 21, 2020

I'm currently building out a Trello board, and I want to re-generate an item on a checklist each week that a card is present in a particular column. My board has three lists: To Do, Doing, Done. For each item in the "Doing" category, I need to submit a weekly status report on Monday. Since those items in the Doing category can last for a few days or a few weeks, depending on the size of the task, I want to uncheck the "Submit status report" request on each Monday that the task is in the Doing category, as a reminder to complete.

I see you can use a Due Date as a Butler trigger; can you use a date in general?

@mrubin121 if you look in the Calendar section you can see all the recurring triggers:

Thanks, @Iain Dooley . I see that I can create new cards, new lists, move cards, sort cards, and have a notification trigger, but I don't see the ability to modify any elements of a checklist (i.e., add a new checklist item to a card or modify a checklist item on a card). Is that not possible?

@mrubin121 Hmm right you are, it seems that in the recurring menu, there's no checklist interaction. You can create and email a report automatically every monday with all cards in the Doing list, would that work?

That might be the alternative I go with. Thanks, @Iain Dooley
