Hi @ericliao ! Are you able to share what you see when using the code block formatting? For me, the background color is grey.

For your second question, it's not possible to change the text color in Trello using their default text formatter. Maybe checkout Trello Optimizer? It looks like they do code syntax highlighting https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/trello-cards-optimizer/ipbjjbpopodbnjbjnneakhcppdocpelg?hl=en
