Project weighting in Trello? (without powerup)

Hi,

I am wondering whether it's possible to add numerical custom fields answers together, across multiple cards, and have those answers displayed in it's own tracking card/ dashcard?

Kind of like how dashcards can count the number of cards in a list but this would be counting the custom field numbers together instead.

Many thanks!

If I recall correctly, Dashcards allows you to sum up numerical custom fields as well.
This previous answer gives some screenshots for how to enable it. Its in the Metrics tabs.

There're also some other powerup solutions: Sums and Smart Fields . Never used them before though, so ymmv. The former sums via board button, whilst the latter is pretty limited unless you pay for the subscription. Though the Dashcards solution should work.

Amazing - I had dashcards already but just didn't realise you could change the metric. Thanks, this has worked!!

@Frankie Jones

You will need to Trello automation to collect the cards and iterate through them via some http request to do the computation. You can then use the {httpresponse} as the weighting to display or update a CF.
