I have a board with a lot of different rules set in butler to post comments when certain custom fields are completed.  The issue I am having is that all comments are posted from my profile (as I created the rule) rather than the user completing the field.

Example:

when custom field
_Pro-Forma Generated
is checked
add the orange label to the card
remove the red label from the card
post comment
@card Pro-Forma Generated please approve
I need the comment to come from whoever checked the custom field

Hey @Andrew Arbuckle - when you create an automation that posts a comment, the comment will be posted by the account that set up the automation. There's no way to change this unfortunately!

@Alex W is this still the case in 2025?

We have a template that everybody has to use when they drag a card to the 'review' column, which is now added under my name which prevents them from editing it.
