I'm a project manager for a company and I have a few questions about multi-board guest.
To put it into context, I have currently invited 12 collaborators, as observers, to a premium "Security follow-up" board (in the "CANAMETAL" workspace) and I wish to add them, as members, on another premium board "SST action follow-up" (in the same "CANAMETAL" workspace).

This makes them multi-board guest, so we have to buy premium licenses for each collaborators.
With their premium licenses, the fact that they are observers in the "Safety follow-up" premium board and members in the "Security action follow-up" premium board, will not generate additional cost to their already paid premium licenses?
Additional question:
The Human Ressources department of our company, wants to use Trello to follow the progress of their projects: creation of an "HR" workspace where they want to create several boards (2 or maybe 3)
Will the HR Director be able, with her premium account, to be a member of two workspaces? The CANAMETAL workspace (as a member) and the HR workspace (as an administrator).

Hi there, welcome to the community, and thanks for writing to us!

Good questions there, I'm happy to clarify them for you. First of all, it's important we remember that when you upgrade a Workspace to Premium, the upgrade is made on the Workspace and not the account itself. For example: If you are a member of a Premium Workspace, you can use Premium features there. If you are a member of a Free WS, you can only use Free features.

With that said, answering your first question: Once a member is on 2 boards in the same Workspace, it starts to count as a Multi-board member (only for paid plans), so it does not make any difference if the user is on 2, 3, or 5 boards on that Workspace, he's going to use one billed seat and that's it. So no additional costs if you put the same member on several boards. If it's on more than 1, it's a Multi-board, and the cost would be the same.

Answering the second question: Yes, the HR Director can be able to be in 2 Workspaces at the same time. And that enters my intro: He/She will be able to use the features that the Workspace has.

Please let me know if there are any additional queries, ok?
