Markup editor // turn off rich text

Is there a way to get the old markup editor back (and switch off the rich text editor). 

Since the old editor went away I find my self wasting lots of time correcting what the RTE thinks is best - starting with pasted text adding paragraph breaks at each line ending. But also when writing content the old way was faster.

Your opinion of the new editor is echoed loudly by many Trello users. Unfortunately, there is not a built-in option to change back to the legacy markdown editor. The Atlassian Team has doubled-down on the decision and disabled the old editor on August 15.

However, one of Trello's Power-Up Developers built an extension bringing back the legacy editor. Seweryn Kalemba's Trello redeemers are available as extensions in the Chrome Webstore and Firefox Add-ons.

The Trello user community has an open Support ticket if you wish to vote, follow, and/or comment your feedback for wanting the legacy editor at this link.

I hope one of Seweryn's solutions works for you now! I hope the legacy editor and user-centric product development returns in the future!
