Hi...
My card template has a due date field and a label field with several possible choices configured. Neither is a custom field.
When a new card is created from this template, the date field and the template are not shown on the card. User must select them from menu at right of dialog box.
Can I make them show automatically every time (perhaps with a default initial selection, if required)?
(Apologies if this is an idiot question, but I couldn't find the answer.)
@Chris Lee You are correct that you set a card with a due date as a template card, that date gets hidden. If you use the “create Card from Template” the date is not carried over. But if you use the copy button, that hidden date is carried over. Logically it makes sense and the above could be your workaround. Test and see if your experience is the same as mine.
Yes, that's the behavior I see. Not what I want though. If I can't force these attributes to appear on the card, is there a way to enforce that the card can't be saved until my user selects a date and label?

@Chris Lee Except for a few areas on the card, you need to “save” something like description and checklist items. So I am not aware that you can do that when you are in the process of creating a card. If you really have to you might need to use the API and or Butler to examine the Actions or the Card (after being created) and take appropriate action like move it to “Take Action” list.
