Log in access denied - advised i dont have permission for access

I was sent a invite to view a trello board. I attempted to log in but i couldnt seem to get access. 

I was however capable of gaining entry through a personal hotmail account. 

Subsequent colleagues using a similar email address as myself eg name.name@companyname.com have successfully  got access to the same board but when i try to login using the company name email it blocks me saying Permission not granted an email has been sent. 

I have never received an email. 

I would very much like to gain access and stop using my personal email account. Help?

Have you checked your spam folder?
I would also let the colleagues check whether you are approved for the Trello board. It could be that you therefore lack the authorization.
