Does Trello have a List Button? I've seen Board Buttons and Card Buttons but can't find a List Button.
I don't need a List Button to solve any technical boundary. The button is more for context. The action I'd like to perform relates to all cards in the list, and it doesn't make much sense to have such a button inside a card.
I can't use board buttons, because then there's no way of knowing what list its being actioned from. Is there a solution to this?
In terms of UI I just see the button stacking at the top of the list.
Hi @Bopple Bot ! No, Trello doesn't offer list buttons for the moment. You can reach out to Trello directly if you want to request this though!
In the meantime, you could create a board button that only applies to a specific list, and include the list name in the board button name.
Or, add a "header" card to the top of each relevant list and set up a rule that only applies when something happens to that specific card (e.g. a label is applied, custom field updated, etc.). The card could then contain a description explaining how it works.
I would be okay with a button inside a card if its possible to have an instruction modal pop up that explains how the board is supposed to be used.
