Hi all
a client of us uses Trello to track the progress of decisions. 70% of the decisions are relevant for a broader audience.
So we had the idea to just make a view or something like that which should work as following.
Probably there are a few possibilities with Butler (haven't yet a closer looked into that).
So I'm happy if you have any ideas how this might work.
Regards
Ralf
@Netstream if you have business class you can add people as "observers" of a board which sounds like what you're after to an extent except you wouldn't able to select which cards/lists would be excluded.
If you wanted to do that you'd need to have some API automation that would synch only cards with a given label to a client specific board, for example. The sorting/ordering wouldn't be identical but you could have some form of match up to indicate state.
For example I have a process board that has cards for multiple clients on it. The process is complicated and has many stages and checklists that the client doesn't need to see.
Each client card is also mirrored on their project board that has a much simpler "todo/doing/done" structure, and as the cards move through the process, labels indicate status in the client's version.
@Iain Dooley This sounds like a practical workaround, not ideal but indeed better than nothing. Many thanks!
Business Class is in place so this should work. Glad that we're not completely alone with this requirement.
