I can see how to add standard labels in various colors, but is there a way to add custom labels to all newly created cards on a board? It seems like it might be possible to do so by renaming the card in the automated rules section, but I'm not quite sure how to refer to the individual custom label names.

Hi @Jonathan C. Chen

Welcome to the Community!

If you go to 'Show Menu' on any board then click on 'More' then 'Labels' you'll see all the labels for the board. If you want to make new ones or rename others, you can click on the little pencil next to the label and rename it.

If you want a specific label to be added each time, add the label you want in the labels section.

To get labels to automatically assign each time, you can do this with Butler:

This rule will add a specific label whenever you add/create/move a card to a board
