How to Copy a Trello Board with Member Assignments Intact?

Hi Trello Community,

I'm looking for an update or solution to a recurring issue we've been facing.

We have a recurring board for our projects, with the same lists and specific tasks assigned to each team member. However, every time we copy the board, we have to manually re-add the members and reassign tasks on the checklists. This manual process is quite frustrating and time-consuming.

When will Trello introduce a feature to copy a board while keeping member assignments intact? Our team members are already subscribed to the workspace, so it doesn't make sense to redo this every time.

Any help, updates, or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!

@Rami Jarjour When you create a new board (either from scratch or copied from another board), it will be created with no board members (except for the member who created the board). So, because there are no board members, it's not possible to add members to cards, hence why your cards are being created unassigned.

Try the following process:
1. Create new empty board
2. Add all members to the board
3. Copy lists from existing board to new board

All cards, members, labels, custom fields, etc. should be copied over.

You could automate step 3 using a board button to copy lists if that helps.
