How do I set a recurring monthly date to fist Monday of the month

Patty Bedard January 16, 2025

I would like to use a date function to add a Trello calendar entry that can be clicked on to return to a card for details.

I can do this for a single date, and can repeat monthly on that numerical date (i.e. each 3rd of the month).

But I need to repeat that date once a month for the day of the month not the date (i.e. the first Monday of each month).

Hi @Patty Bedard !

That can be done through Trello's Automation! You have a number of parameters you can set to take actions on a schedule, one of them is your exact example. Here:

You can access the automation page through the Board menu or by clicking the little lightning icon at the top right of your board.

And while I'd recommend fiddling around with it and trying to find the best use you can have for automations, you can also check this guide as a starting point: https://trello.com/guide/automate-anything
