How can Trello be more accessible?

I have a number of colleagues using Trello and I would like to use it with my team. Unfortunately I have not been able to find anything encouraging about accessibility. Can you use Trello with Assistive Technology such as Screen Readers, text-to-speech and speech-to-text. I was able to find keyboard shortcuts but users also need to be able to navigate with voice. Compatibility with Dragon dictate is important. Has anyone had any succcess?

We have a bunch of information about accessibility in Atlassian products here: https://www.atlassian.com/accessibility - the Trello VPAT might help you determine the level of accessibility that currently exists.

I would hope that as the VPAT was written nearly 3 ears ago some of the issues it highlighted would now be fixed? Especially as these issues would cause problems for users of assistive technology

Totally fair @Fiona Kelner - I've brought this up with the team internally, so we can improve how often we update the VPAT, and make it easier to find!

Anecdotally, I can tell you that our engineers take a lot of care and consideration when making changes to Trello, to ensure we're improving the accessibility of the application. One recent example of a massive improvement in accessibility, especially for screen readers and keyboard navigability is the navigation changes.

Given these changes are recent (released over the last 6 months or so), they're not reflected in the published VPAT.

Hi @Fiona Kelner , here is one earlier post that speaks to this - How-accessible-is-Trello . I don't know that it will have any direct answers but hopefully it will lead you in the right direction.

Thanks jack. Unfortunately that post does not answer my query and is what I refer to when saying I cannot find anything encouraging about accessibility.
