How can I get Trello to stop masking URLs included in the comments in my cards?

After pasting one or many URLs into a card, Trello forces them to display as shortened nomenclature -- the Page Title and a favicon -- instead of the actual URL. Being able to see and read the full URL is important to my project communication. Where is the setting for me to turn this off?

Hey @Andrea Fleisher ! Welcome to the community :) there's no setting to turn this off, however, there is a big thread here that talks about this particular feature quite extensively and there are a few workarounds offered.

For example, adding backticks to your link or removing the "https://" part of the URL.

It also looks like @Adam Cao created a link preserver extension for this:

Many thanks, Hannah! Nice of you to point me to that other thread and provide the summary here.
