How can I enable status updates in the activity tracker?

Hi Trello Community,

I’m using a custom field dropdown for our team to track the “status” of the card, but I think originally it didn’t show anything on the activity tracker at all. I then looked up online and managed to get to the point where the activity tracker says “X has updated the value of the Progress Status custom field on the card”. We just need to take that a step further and for the tracker to say what the value was changed to, so something like “X has updated the Progress Status custom field on the card to (status).”

Does anyone know how I can enable the activity tracker to tell me directly to what status a card was changed to?

The activity log is created by Trello and I have not come across anything that allows you to customise it. If you need a custom message, then a write a comment with the message that contains the CF value.
