How can I automate adding the creator of a card as a member?

When anyone creates a card, we would like for them to automatically be added as a member of that card. At the moment this doesn't seem to be an option – you can only either set the creator of the rule to be added to the card, or to choose a specific member.

welcome! You can definitely do this using the Trello Rule Automations. The rule would be:

when a card is added to the board, add member @{username} to the card

Note that the variables are not autocompleted currently, so you will need to manually enter it.
