Error saving: Cant_Parse_Command

Paddy O_Gee June 14, 2021

This is a simple 2 part rule

when a card is copied into list "Meeting Follow-ups"

move the due date by the same amount of time

I get Error saving: Cant_Parse_Command regardless of browser or if it is incognito. Makes no difference.

Any help appreciated

Hey @Paddy O_Gee

this rule won't work. What are you trying to do? "move the due date by the same amount of time" requires a date change in the trigger. For example, a valid use case for this action would be this rule:

when a due date is moved in a card, for each card linked in the attachments, move the due date by the same amount of time

Aaah, I have a repeater powerup. So when the task is repeated a couple of weeks later, I wanted the new card to also have the due date but 2 weeks forward as well.

I was looking at "Automatically changing due dates with Butler" on this url https://help.trello.com/article/1068-using-the-card-repeater-power-up

Actually I just reset the rule to create a due date when card copied to 'today' - Sorry for trying to re-invent the wheel :-)
