Date Fields not searchable?!

So I found out that custom text fields will show up in the filter results. How can I filter by date fields?  What's the point of using a date field if it doesn't link up to the search or filtering system? Do I need to type in a special query in the filter box?

Hey there! You can use the Blue Cat Reports Power-Up to create a query with custom date fields. I've used the Quick List where you can create a filter of cards from one or multiple boards with specific criteria, including Custom Date fields.
