Creating cards in multiple lists with adapted due dates

Olivier Dequinnemaere May 20, 2021

Hi,

I want to do a test in Trello. I want to create a command that creates cards in several lists, with consecutive due dates.

More specifically: I create a card in the first list. By using Butler, I want to create a command (via a button?) that creates a card with the same cardname in the other lists, with adapted due dates as the different lists represent a process consisting of different steps.

I'm starting with Trello, and still discovering the tool.

Can anybody help me?

Kind regards,

Olivier

Hi Oliver! There are probably different ways to achieve this, but here's what I came up with: https://www.loom.com/share/eb39effe10f6428fb62daec652a1779f

I linked the cards together so that way you could create cascading rules in Butler so if one card changes, it can affect the other cards if you want that.

It works, and it does exactly what I want. Great ...

Thx for this solution.

Kind regards,

Olivier
