Cannot connect google account in Trello

good morning I am trying to link my google account to use my Drive file.

Unfortunately I can't finish the procedure as it tells me that ‘Access blocked. This app tried to access sensitive information in your Google Account’.

I have two test environments, the first in SSO with my company , the second with direct Google authentication. same problem.

could you share the steps to solve the problem? Thank you all for your support

If you’re unable to connect your Google account in Trello due to an "Access blocked" error, here are some steps you can try:

1. Check Permissions for Trello in Google Account:

   • Go to Google’s Security Permissions page and look for Trello under Third-party apps with account access.
   • If Trello is listed, remove it to reset permissions. Then, go back to Trello and try reconnecting your Google account.

2. Enable Third-Party App Access:

   • In your Google Account, go to Security > Less secure app access and make sure it’s set to Allow. Some Google accounts, particularly business accounts, may restrict third-party access unless explicitly enabled.

3. Contact Google Workspace Admin (for Work Accounts):

   • If you’re using a company Google Workspace account, your admin may need to allow Trello as a trusted app. They can do this from the Google Workspace admin console by allowing OAuth access for Trello.

4. Clear Browser Cache and Try Another Browser:

   • Sometimes clearing the cache can resolve authorization issues. Also, try using an incognito window or a different browser.

5. Use Google Drive Power-Up:

   • Make sure you’re using the official Google Drive Power-Up in Trello, as it’s specifically designed to integrate Google services securely with Trello.
