When I copy a link from a third party site, it automatically turns into a button type message in the comment. Is there a way to change this display?

url links can't seem to be formatted in the comments area, so no.

url links in Description, you can hit ctrl+shift+M to format it as a code-block instead.

If the third party site has a Trello power-up, it might auto-format itself in to something slightly more useful though.

But if you just copy an image (instead of an image link) you can paste it in to Description or Comments, and you will just see it as the image instead of a link or button. It will also add itself as an Attachment though (which if you delete, will break the image in the Description/Comment iirc).

You can also just paste directly in to the card (not selecting any text boxes) and it will paste itself in to an Attachment as well.
