Interested to understand if Trello Butler could automate dates as a new card arrives and when cards in the same queue are edited.
Scenario:
When a new card is added, move it to the bottom of the list and set it's "expected start date" to the day after the card above it's expected due date.
Additionally, when a card is edited for it's actual start or due dates, to modify cards start and due dates that are below it.
The intent is to understand the expected date a card is set to begin so it can be communicated, but also updated when other work scheduled before it changes.
Thank you.
@Ben Smith @Esme Crutchley You could kind of do this with Trellinator, although it would be messy as hell. If you want to do proper gantt charting and dependency planning/tracking you should use Placker.
@Iain Dooley @Esme Crutchley Thank you both for your reply, very helpful. I'll research Placker and see if it's applicable to our scenario.

Hi @Ben Smith
Welcome to the Community!
Unfortunately, Butler can't read the dates on the card before (believe me I wish that it could), or to alter dates on cards based on other cards in the list.
However, @Iain Dooley might have an idea how to do this with Trellinator
