The Trello app on iPad was updated with some interface changes a week or so ago and no longer allows the continuous addition of checklist items with a connected keyboard.
Previous (expected) behavior:
1. Open a card and add a checklist.
2. Type in first item and hit enter.
3. Text cursor automatically moves to next line down, ready to enter text for next item. Repeat until you have completed adding items.
New behavior since recent update:
1. Open a card and add a checklist.
2. Type in first item and hit enter.
3. Text cursor disappears and loses focus on the checklist. You must manually move to tap or click the next item on the list for each checklist item requiring entry.
Note: This does not occur for the on-screen keyboard, only for hardware keyboards.
This is a substantial bug for our organization as we use iPads and utilize many large checklists among the team so would be appreciated if it could be fixed quickly.
Please let me know if there is another route for me to report this bug because it did not seem as though I had access to log this in the Atlassian Jira Bugs page for Trello.
Many thanks
Hi @Luke Mildenhall-Ward !
After some testing on our end, we were able to reproduce what you're seeing and have now opened up a new bug report that you can find right here: TRELLO-719
As of right now, I don't have an ETA on when this fix will be released, as it depends on various factors such as the team’s backlog and the complexity of the bug itself. That being said, with the link I sent above, you should be able to watch this issue by clicking on Start watching this issue.
As a workaround, you can press "option + enter" instead of just "enter".
Hi is there any update on this issue? Thank you

Thanks for the reply @Augusto Lisboa
My report is specifically referring to checklists. I do not have the issue linked in respect to comments.

Thanks. When you say I need to rely on community feedback, have I reported the bug in the correct manner by posting it here? Will it be forwarded to the development team?
