Is there a way to write a rule such as this?

When all Cards due dates in List A are marked complete.

Change the status of all cards in List B to Ready

Ready is an option in a Status (Custom Field) Not Started, Ready, In-Progress

Hi @Darren Hamilton

There is a way to do this but it takes a few steps...

I really hope this helps, there are more things you can do to make this bullet proof and even more awesome but this will get you started...

I'll start with this clip of it in action...

Method

  1. I have set up a board with your List A and List B scenario but added a list to the left called Status. In this list, I created a card called Status Card

  2. To set it up, I created an automation button that collects the cards in List A into a checklist called List A and the same for List B

  3. Now I create a rule that says when card due date is marked complete, find the card linked in the checklist and check the item off

  4. Lastly create an automation that when Checklist List A is complete, for each item linked in checklist List B, set the custom field Status to "Ready".

@Dreamsuite Mike Thank You for this. It worked perfectly! I would really like to hear what the next steps you mention that would make it bullet proof.
