Are all power-ups free to use on the free version ?

Grégoire THAIS May 21, 2019

I tried to add a power-up, "Board Export (CSV, etc.)", on one of our table (we have a free version account), but it seems that we need to purchase a seperate license key to use it.

Is there only some power-ups accessible for the free version and some that we can't add (unless upgrading to business trello) ?

Thanks for your help !

Grégoire

@Grégoire THAIS

This Power-Up in particular is one of the Power-Ups that you need to pay for if you want to use them.

By default, with a free account you can enable 1 Power-Up per board - that's from Trello's side. Most Power-Ups are 3rd party tools and Trello cannot influence whether or not they add a price tag. So, if you pick a Power-Up that does come with a price tag, you have to pay - not Trello, but the developers of this Power-Up.

Does that help?

Hi @Grégoire THAIS the free version of Trello gives you one power-up per board, the Gold version gives you three, and Business class gives you unlimited. However some Trello power ups have an addition fee to use them (based on the third party that created the power-up), that may be what you are experiencing with the Board export power-up.

Hope this helps.
Thanks,

Jodi

Thank you @Jodi LeBlanc and @Katrin Anger for your answers ! It's perfectly clear, I didn't get the fact that the power-ups "market" mixes Trello's power-ups and third party's ones.

Have a good day !

Grégoire
