Hello community,

I would like to take an exam and become Jira certified. My country (Iran) is not available for scheduling the desired exam. Can I travel to another country and take the exam there?

Hello @Neda , Unfortunately, no. Traveling to another country is not an option as your ID would show Iran as your address.

Yes that is correct. There is no testing center in Iran and it's not possible to take the exam online as it requires an address and Iran is not included.

Hi @Neda , welcome to the Community!

Are you able to take the exam online? You would need internet and a camera and audio (can be built into the camera), and a clean desk space so the online proctor can see there are no notes or other materials on the desk. Taking an exam online is the same as taking it in a test center except you don't have to go anywhere (if you're taking it from home). If you can't take it online, please post again and let us know, we'll try to track down a testing center where you might be able to go.

@Neda , when you are completing the form with the Country drop-down that doesn't have Iran, is there another country in that drop-down list that's close by that you can travel to? If not, I'll contact other Community Leaders and see if they've encountered this.

Hi @Neda , I got a response from another Community Leader and I'm really sorry but apparently there's a legal reason (an embargo) why Iran has no testing facilities for Atlassian certs. I hope you continue your learning and working with Atlassian products, perhaps you will be able to get certified in the near future. Best wishes to you!

There're two options to take the exam:
1.Testing Center

2.Online

Neither of them is avaible for you in Iran?

There is no testing center in Iran and it's not possible to take the exam online as it requires an address and there is no "Iran" in the country list.
